About The Department Of CIVIL ENGINEERING
The Department of Civil Engineering of SIT College of Engineering was established in 2009.
The Department aims to provide quality education, research, and professional experiences that enable its graduates to become leaders in their professional careers,
to pursue excellence in research, to serve the profession, community, and nation, and to be competitive in the international scene. The department has established
state-of-the-art experimental facilities and a laboratory, and it has received prestigious funding under the AICTE Scheme. The department provides technical assistance
for live engineering projects. These live projects are used effectively as training platforms for our students. Our department conducts national and international seminars,
conferences, and special lectures to train and educate our students. We also trained our students in professional ethics and moral values to compete at an international level and as construction professionals worldwide.
We always strive to produce quality professionals who hold important positions in the information technology industry in India and abroad.
The department has been organizing various field workshops led by industry professionals. Here students are given training by the technocrats and field experts in the field of research-oriented curriculum to publish research papers.
Our department provides solutions to the construction industry through its consultancy services; it provides a state-of-the-art teaching and learning process, increased employability of the graduates, more interaction with industries, and designing courses to meet global standards. Eligibility Criteria - For admission to degree engineering, the candidate shall have passed HSCE (std.XII, 10+ 2 pattern) in Science Stream with 45% marks
Affiliation - Approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, UP.
